Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

With Mother’s Day just around the corner, I wanted to pull together a few ideas I think Moms will love (especially my Mama!). This year’s set of ideas is inspired by my own Mom, who’s not exactly a spa girl but loves a good book that stirs inspiration, sentimentality, and a deep dive into curiosity.

My mom is a huge fan of good food and Joanna Gaines. Joanna’s new cookbook, Magnolia Table, vol. 2, was a no brainer.

This little recipe book is perfect for writing down traditional family recipes and maybe surprising mom with an old favorite on Mother’s Day! My mom loves all things Mediterranean so the lemons on the cover couldn’t be more perfect.

If you’re going for sentimental and unique, give Mom the sweetest hand drawn Custom Family Portrait, unique to your own family! This one is definitely a favorite.

My mom loves to paint and whenever we go to a family member’s house there’s usually one of her creations hanging around. This DIY Painting Kit would bring her so much joy without being overly fussy.

Flowers are the classic go-to gift for Mom that never disappoints. The sweet fragrance and pops of color are a great pairing with a personalized card to tell Mom you love her.

Last but not least, and perhaps the best gift for this year during these “stay-at-home” orders, is to make a simple phone call to mom to let her know you’re thinking of her. No social media shout outs with a hashtag. You actually have to call. Seriously, she’ll love it.

Happy Mother’s Day!
